I am Elena Van, a conceptual artist of Chinese origin.

I live and create my paintings in Tbilisi. My work is filled with symbolism and sincerity – each piece reflects my perception of the reality I live in.

I’ve been drawing since childhood.

There were times when I thought it wasn’t “serious” enough and that I should find a “proper” job. But over the years, I realized this is truly mine, and being an artist is the only thing that makes me who I am.

Symbolism and meaning are deeply important to me, both as a person and as an artist.

That’s what I aim to express through my work. I work across different mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, and oil.
