My sketchbooks are a way of keeping impressions and observations of the world around me. I work with watercolour and graphics, combining quick studies with more detailed illustrations. I’m drawn to travel, architecture, plants, animals, and chance scenes from everyday life.

About the sketchbooks

This is a series of sketchbooks gathering work from the last five years — plein-air landscapes, still lifes, animal studies, and portraits. For me a sketchbook is at once a visual diary, a space for experiment, and a way to hold the feeling of a moment. Finished pieces sit beside spontaneous drawings, compositional searches, and details noticed in passing. What matters most is keeping the line alive and the sense of a direct, first-hand look.
