Roman Kulish
My name is Roman Kulish, and since 2019 collage has been my way of dialoguing with the subconscious.
For me, it’s not just working with paper, but an intuitive exploration where composition and color help bring hidden meanings to the surface.
After taking part in several exhibitions, I arrived at a highly minimal, distilled form. In this sketchbook, I present a series of miniatures composed of just a few elements.
The 9×13 format is not accidental: it fits the palm and echoes the proportions of a smartphone screen. I aimed to create the effect of an “analog feed” — something that can be read quickly and effortlessly, much like we do on social media.
Each page is a complete statement that invites you to slow down and reflect on how simple forms generate new visual narratives. This is my first step into working with a miniature series, where intuitive art meets the rhythm of contemporary digital life.
