My name is Anita, an artist and illustrator

I’ve illustrated two children’s books and worked on three animated series. More than anything, I’m inspired by people — their emotions, expressions, and the quirks that make each person unique. I especially love drawing funny, slightly strange characters, catching the small details in a look, a pose, or a gesture that make a drawing feel alive.

About the sketchbooks

I started this sketchbook three years ago, simply for fun. Inside you’ll find characters from films and series, my friends and their pets, and random strangers from cafés, beaches, and streets. For me the sketchbook is both practice and a way of watching the world — I like working with a living line and looking for the balance between expression, humour, and warmth.
