Lana Devidze

I’m an artist from Georgia, exploring everyday life through form, texture, and association.

My work emerges from observing ordinary things – objects, packaging, “waste” that at some point stops being unnecessary and begins to speak.

In my sketchbooks, I collect fragments of experience: abstractions, lines, found elements, personal symbols.

I’m interested in the boundary between what is valued and what is discarded, between what is seen as beautiful and what goes unnoticed.

I don’t turn objects into idealized images – rather, I let them remain as they are, preserving their history and the traces of time. Through this, I speak about myself: about memory, change, and the search for meaning.

My practice is a process of observation and recording — an attempt to find beauty where it is usually not sought.
